New project: saving a 1930s grocery store

We immediately fell in love with this well kept gem. The last tenant had the store for over 60 years. He stopped when he was 82 years old.

We not only want to keep the store's interior but also try to keep its destination as a "Mercearia". We even kept the name of the last tenant: Chico. This was only mentioned on a wooden panel he had gotten from visitors but all neighbors referred to the store as Chico.

Works started end of year and should take 2 months. Fingers crossed!
